Rydalmere

White curves outside. Oak, stone and soft light inside.

The project

Two homes behind a white, curved street front, finished inside in oak, veined stone and travertine.

A dual occupancy in Rydalmere. At the street, a curved upper storey, fluted white cladding and timber front doors sit behind low planting. Inside, a double-height living room has an oak-panelled wall framed in black, a statement stone surround and a ribbon fireplace, and oak blades screen the lounge from a kitchen with a veined stone island and brass pendants. The main suite pairs an upholstered bed with a lit panelled wall; one bathroom is veined marble with brushed brass, another fluted travertine with matte black.
