Parkland Arches
Classical forms, a contemporary expression.
The project
Arched windows and fine cornices to the street. A double-height living space inside.
Parkland Arches gives classical architectural forms a contemporary expression. Dark-framed arched windows and finely profiled cornices establish a measured rhythm across the white façade. A double-height living space brings generous proportions to the interior, with broad glazing opening towards leafy surroundings. Warm herringbone flooring, timber-toned joinery and pale veined surfaces add texture to the restrained palette.
The dark-framed arches define the street elevation. Inside, the double-height living space and herringbone floors give a different sense of scale. The gallery groups the images by part of the home so those relationships are easy to compare.
