The project
A white house on a rising block, its timber and glass set back behind a terraced garden.
A single house in Mount Colah, on a block that rises from the street. White render frames black-framed glazing, with vertical timber battens on the upper level, a timber front door and a matching timber garage door. Lit steps climb from the driveway to the entry, and sandstone walls with slatted fencing hold a native garden along the street. Behind the house, a covered outdoor kitchen and lounge sit beside the pool. One image shows the same front in stone cladding and dark timber.
